The tradition it comes from
An ancient eastern tradition reads a life through five elements: Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water. Not as substances, but as five ways energy behaves — growing, burning, settling, cutting, flowing. Every moment in time carries a particular mix of them, and the tradition holds that the mix present when a person arrives says something durable about how that person moves through the world.
LifeLight runs on an engine developed from a combination of ancient eastern traditions, Chinese and Vedic, translated into clear, practical English. None of the terminology reaches you. There is no jargon in the reading and none on this page: the tradition does the arithmetic, and the reading is written the way a friend who is good at their job would say it.

How it is computed
A deterministic engine does the arithmetic. You give it a date, an hour and a place; it works out the elemental energies present at that moment — your elemental makeup — and how they progress across your life. The same birth moment always produces the same chart. Nothing is improvised, and nothing is bent to flatter you.
That is the difference worth holding on to. A quiz reads the answers you gave it. A horoscope reads a sign shared with millions of other people. This reads one moment, and that moment is only yours. If you do not know your birth time you still get a full reading: the hour sharpens some details, and where it is missing we read what we can and tell you plainly what is affected.
The seasons
A chart is not a still photograph. The elemental makeup you arrived with keeps moving, and it moves in ten-year seasons — which is why two of the ten chapters exist at all. One maps those seasons end to end, and names what each was for. The other names the one you are standing in right now, and what is arriving after it.
That is the part people come back to. A reading of character can be read once and put down; timing is the thing worth re-reading in a year, when the season has turned and the same page means something different.
What you hand over
Three facts: a date, a time and a place of birth. No real name is required and an alias is fine. The birth details are used to calculate your chart and then not stored; the finished reading is kept against your email so you can open it again, and deleted on request at any time.
